My favourite Zanpakutou-drawing.... EVER!

All it really does is make the parts it consists of shift sizes.
The Blade/guard/hilt/pommel/whatever can grow in length or width dramatically and in an instant.
To remain wieldable, the sword's weight stays the same for the wielder, even if it's on it's biggest.


As you might know, I draw/design Zanpakutou on a Forum for friends and I like to make up my own.
I use Photoshop CS2 to draw out the lines and just fill it with colour, throw on some effects, shading, add brushes for texture... and stuff I can't draw... and voila xD

I decided to shape it more to the actual thought of the sword I originally thought these abilities up for.... And I am incredibly pleased.
Threw in some extra layer effects and detailed a couple of things. Then a nice lighting effect to finish it off.

I'm lovin' it.

I'm thinking about making this my sealed actually *thinks about it*
So maybe somewhere in the future a shikai version, with a somewhat more clear element, will be uploaded?
